You may RSVP to this event by clicking here, refreshments will be provided. ** Help the Houston ASPCA ** As some of you may have heard, the Houston SPCA made one of the largest animal rescues in the country this past week. A total of 1,045 animals from a home in NW Houston were taken to safety as they were living in horrible conditions. A number of items are now needed to make sure these animals are well taken care of, this is an opportunity to help out our community and earn credit for volunteering. The following donations are needed: · Shredded paper for the gerbils and hamsters · Newspapers to use as bedding for the many birds in their care · Finch food · Parakeet food · Food for large Hook Bill birds · Chicken and Duck food We also need someone to drop off whatever we can collect, this will also be credited to your membership requirements.
